We’re off to the ranch
After a long, frustrating and miserable delay due to Covid, we’re finally on our way.
From Julie’s Facebook post:
Yes, me. No, Paul doesn’t have it yet. Yes, I feel like crap. No, there’s nothing you can do but thanks for asking. No, we don’t know when we’ll leave but it won’t be tmrw. Yes, I know who I got it from. No, I’m not mad at him but c’mon people, if you are living with someone who has it, PLEASE think of others and wear a mask in public.
Sure enough, I got it, too. It was not a pleasant experience.
Covid is one of the few things we’re not planning on bringing with us, so the delay was necessary.
I still have to make multiple trips back and forth because we have 25 years worth of accumulated crap and more plants than you can shake a watering can at, but with Julie, the cats, and most of our stuff on the way to the ranch, I’m considering us officially moved.

So long, and thanks for all the (craw)fish!1

It’s a Douglas Adams thing. Read a book.
